Description

Tame powertrain shake and keep the driveline planted with the Anchor Engine Mount 8179, a rear engine mount that helps support and locate the engine while isolating vibration from the chassis. It's a direct-fit replacement for the 1993-1997 Geo Prizm and 1993-1997 Toyota Corolla — see the Buyer's Guide tab for the full engine-level applications.

Rear engine mount: supports the engine and dampens vibration to limit movement and quiet the driveline.
Engineered to OE standards: designed to OE standards using a CAD/CAM process for consistent quality.
Purpose-built rubber: natural and Styrene Butadiene rubber that resists wear and stays stable as it ages; molded to a specific durometer (hardness) based on the vehicle application.
Strong bond & hardware: Chemlock® bonding agent for a superior rubber-to-metal bond; any included fasteners are hardened steel with heat-treated Grade 5 bolts.

Signs this mount may need replacing include vibration at idle, clunking on acceleration, deceleration, or shifting, and cracked or separated rubber. If a worn rear mount is the cause, this unit replaces it.
