Description

Tame powertrain shake and hold the engine steady with the Anchor Engine Mount 8988, a front engine mount that helps support and locate the powertrain while damping the vibration it sends into the chassis. It's a direct-fit replacement for the 2001-2005 Acura EL and 2001-2005 Honda Civic — see the Buyer's Guide tab to confirm your engine.

Built to OE standards: engineered and designed to OE standards using a CAD/CAM process for consistent fit and quality.

Purpose-built rubber: uses natural and Styrene Butadiene rubber that resists wear and stays stable as it ages for long service life.
Application-tuned hardness: the rubber is manufactured to a specific Durometer (hardness) measurement based on the vehicle application's requirements.
Strong rubber-to-metal bond: Chemlock® bonding agent is used to create a superior rubber-to-metal bond.
Fasteners: any included fasteners are hardened steel with heat-treated Grade #5 bolts.

Signs a mount may need replacing include clunks on acceleration, deceleration or shifting, added vibration at idle, and cracked or separated rubber. If a worn mount is the cause, this replaces it.
