This torque strut helps support and locate the powertrain while limiting the fore-and-aft movement that transfers vibration into the chassis. It's cataloged for the front left and front right positions and drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the 2006-2007 Buick Terraza, 2006-2011 Chevrolet Impala, and 2006-2007 Chevrolet Monte Carlo — see the "Vehicles it fits" section for engine-level fitment.
