Raybestos Brakes Disc Brake Rotor P/N:980902FZN
Raybestos 680758R front brake rotor for the 2011-2019 Ford Explorer and other vehicles turns with the wheel while the pads clamp it to slow the vehicle. This disc brake rotor has a vented, cast iron body and a smooth, non-directional surface.
Pedal pulsation, brake noise or visible grooves can mean the rotor is worn. Because worn pads or other brake parts can give similar signs, measure the rotor's thickness against the discard thickness below and look for cracks during a brake service, with the engine off, before you replace it.
The 2011-2019 Ford Explorer, the 2010-2019 Ford Taurus and the 2010-2019 Ford Flex take these brake rotors, and so do other Ford and Lincoln models. Plan on two per vehicle, so order two and fit them together. The rotor is developed from OE samples for OE fit, form and function.
Fit and size
Build and materials
Is this a front Ford Explorer brake rotor for the 2011-2019 model years?
Yes. Raybestos 680758R fits the front of the 2011-2019 Ford Explorer. If your car is something else, look it up in the "Vehicles it fits" section on this page.
Are these Raybestos rotors directional?
No. Raybestos 680758R has a smooth, non-directional surface, so it is not built for one rotation direction.
At what thickness should this front rotor be replaced?
Its nominal thickness is 30.05 mm (1.183 in) and its discard thickness is 28.5 mm (1.122 in). Replace it once it measures 28.5 mm or less.
Does this rotor come with an ABS tone ring?
No. This rotor does not include an ABS tone ring. It has a 68.05 mm center hole and five lug holes on a 114.3 mm bolt circle.
What does mill balancing do on this front rotor?
The rotor is mill balanced and 100 percent validated. This helps minimize thickness variation and leads to less vibration and smoother stopping.
