Four Seasons A/C Accumulator P/N:33221
Keep your A/C system clean and dry with the Four Seasons A/C Accumulator, MPN 33035. It installs as a direct-fit replacement for the 2006-2007 GMC Sierra, 2006-2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Classic, 2006-2007 GMC Sierra 1500, and 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 Classic — see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level details. The accumulator/filter drier stores refrigerant and removes moisture and contaminants that flushing alone cannot clear, which is why replacing it is essential whenever the system is opened for service.
Note that replacing the accumulator/filter drier is required to validate many compressor warranties and should be done any time the system is serviced. If a saturated or contaminated original is the issue, this unit replaces it.

What does this A/C accumulator do?
It stores refrigerant and uses a desiccant bag to absorb moisture, while filtering out contaminants that circulate through the air conditioning system and cannot be removed by flushing.
Does it come with installation hardware?
Yes. According to Four Seasons, the necessary gaskets, o-rings and seal are included to help with the installation.
Which vehicles does MPN 33035 fit?
It fits the 2006-2007 GMC Sierra, 2006-2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2007 Silverado 1500 Classic, 2006-2007 GMC Sierra 1500, and 2007 Sierra 1500 Classic. See the Buyer's Guide tab.
Do I need to replace the accumulator when servicing the A/C?
Four Seasons states replacement is required to validate the compressor warranty and that it should be replaced any time the system is serviced or has been left open.
Why can't the old accumulator just be flushed?
The desiccant traps contaminants and moisture that flushing cannot remove, and a saturated bag becomes ineffective, so replacing the unit is the recommended fix.
