Four Seasons A/C Compressor P/N:167315
Four Seasons 57878 A/C compressor for the 1997-2001 Honda Prelude is a remanufactured Keihin HS090 unit that circulates refrigerant through the A/C system. This Four Seasons AC compressor includes the clutch.
A failing compressor can show up as warm air from the vents, a squeal or grinding from the engine bay, or a clutch that does not engage. Low refrigerant or a bad relay may be behind warm air too, so rule those out before buying a compressor. With the engine off, look at the compressor, its fittings and the belt for oily residue or damage; a shop can test pressures and the clutch circuit.
It is a direct-fit replacement for the 1997-2001 Honda Prelude, and each car takes one.
