If a worn or seized compressor is the cause of warm air from your A/C, this Four Seasons ac compressor, part number 88952, replaces it. This GM HD6 compressor is a direct-fit replacement for the 1994-1995 Cadillac DeVille and the 1994-1995 Cadillac DeVille / Coupe DeVille / Sedan DeVille. See the Buyer's Guide tab for engine details.
- Built to OE standards: designed to meet or surpass OE specifications, and validated for the equivalent of 100,000 miles.
- Oil pre-charge: comes pre-charged with 3 ounces of PAG oil for R134a or R1234yf applications.
- Leak tested: each unit is individually vacuum, pressure, and Helium Mass Spectrometer tested for leaks.
- Backed by experience: Four Seasons brings more than 50 years of mobile A/C experience.
Driven by the engine, the compressor draws in low-pressure refrigerant vapor and compresses it so the system can move heat out of the cabin. Signs a compressor may need replacing include warm air from the vents, grinding or rattling noise when the A/C is on, or refrigerant leaking at the compressor. Other A/C components can cause these same symptoms, so diagnose the cause before replacing. When installing this Four Seasons compressor, follow the vehicle service information for system flushing, oil balancing, and any related parts.
