Four Seasons A/C Compressor P/N:98339
Four Seasons 98444 A/C compressor for the 2003-2006 BMW X5 pressurizes and circulates refrigerant through the A/C system. This new unit is a Nihon/Calsonic type compressor, the Calsonic CSV717.
A compressor that is wearing out can show up as warm air from the vents, noise from the compressor or a clutch that will not engage. These signs alone do not prove the compressor is at fault, since a low refrigerant charge from a leak can look the same.
It is a direct-fit replacement for the 2003-2006 BMW X5, which carries a single compressor driven off the engine's serpentine belt.
