A condenser fan that is failing can show up as weak A/C at idle or in slow traffic, or as an engine that runs hotter when stopped. Before replacing it, look for the cause with the engine off and cool: check the blades for cracks and the connector for corrosion, since a fuse, wiring or connector fault could also be why a fan does not run.
