It installs as a direct-fit replacement for the listed applications: the 1986-1989 Freightliner FLC112, 1986-1988 FLC120, 1986-1989 FLT086, 1988-1989 FLD120, 1988-1989 FLL086, and 1989 FLA086. The receiver/filter drier acts as a filter, removing moisture and contaminants from the A/C system — debris that flushing alone cannot clear, which is why replacing the drier during service is important.
