Keep your Saturn's A/C refrigerant clean and dry with the Four Seasons A/C Receiver Drier with Hose Assembly / A/C Refrigerant Discharge Hose 33499. This filter drier with integrated hose drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the listed applications, including the 1991-1993 Saturn SC Series, SL, SL1 and SL2, the 1991-1992 Saturn SC, and the 1993 Saturn SC1, SC2, SW Series, SW1 and SW2 — see the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list and engine details.
A leaking or "open" system can saturate the desiccant bag within a few hours, making the drier ineffective. Four Seasons advises replacing the drier any time the system is serviced, and notes replacement is required to validate compressor warranty. Backed by over 50 years of mobile A/C experience.
What does this receiver drier do?
It acts as a filter, using a desiccant bag to remove moisture and trap contaminants from the A/C system that cannot be removed by flushing. The integrated hose routes refrigerant to the next component.
Does it include the seals and o-rings I need?
Yes. The necessary gaskets, o-rings and seal are included for installation, per the manufacturer.
Which vehicles does the 33499 fit?
It fits the 1991-1993 Saturn SC Series, SL, SL1 and SL2, the 1991-1992 SC, and the 1993 SC1, SC2, SW Series, SW1 and SW2. See the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list.
Should I replace the drier when servicing the A/C?
Four Seasons states the drier must be replaced any time the system is serviced, and replacement is required to validate compressor warranty. An open system can saturate the desiccant within hours.
Does this assembly come with the hose?
Yes. This is a filter drier with an integrated hose assembly, so the drier and hose come together as one unit.
