Oily residue on the hose or at its fittings, cracks or abrasion on the hose, and weak cooling can all mean a suction hose needs replacing. Before ordering, look the hose and fittings over with the engine off, since weak cooling also has other causes, and leave any test that opens the A/C line to a shop. If a damaged suction hose is the cause, this assembly replaces it.
