Give your cooling fan and HVAC circuits a new electrical switch with the Four Seasons Engine Cooling Fan Motor Relay / HVAC System Relay, part number 36145. It is a direct-fit replacement for the listed applications on the 2004-2007 Toyota Sienna and the 2010 Toyota Avalon. See the Buyer's Guide tab for engine details.
Four Seasons describes 36145 as a standard relay. It is listed under two names, engine cooling fan motor relay and HVAC system relay. A relay is an electrically operated switch. A low-current control signal energizes it, and its contacts then open or close a higher-current circuit, such as one that powers a fan motor or an HVAC component.
- Precision engineered: built for vehicle-specific applications.
- OE-style molded connectors: connectors molded in the OE style.
- Quality contacts: designed to provide proper electrical conductivity.
- Mobile A/C background: Four Seasons has more than 50 years of mobile A/C experience.
Signs a relay may need replacing include a cooling fan that does not come on, an HVAC system that does not operate, or intermittent operation of either. Wiring, fuses, switches and the motor itself can cause the same symptoms, so diagnose the circuit before replacing the relay. If a failed relay is the cause, 36145 replaces it.
