Keep your HVAC fan speeds under control with the Four Seasons switch part number 20073, a front HVAC Blower Motor Resistor that regulates how fast the blower motor runs. It fits many Chevrolet and GMC models, among them the 1992-1996 GMC G3500, 1992-1995 GMC G1500 and 1992-1995 GMC G2500, as a direct-fit replacement for the listed applications. See the "Vehicles it fits" section for the full list.
The part is cataloged as a switch, and Four Seasons describes it as an HVAC Blower Motor Resistor, so it is known by both names. It sits in the blower circuit and controls the current reaching the blower motor, which is how the lower fan settings are produced.
- OE-style connectors: Connectors styled after the original equipment.
- Quality contacts: Designed to maintain proper conductivity.
- Precision engineered: Built for vehicle-specific applications.
- Four Seasons experience: Engineered and tested by Four Seasons, which has more than 50 years of mobile A/C experience.
Signs this part may need replacing include a blower that runs only on its highest setting, or one or more fan speeds that no longer work. Other faults in the blower circuit can cause similar symptoms, so diagnose the cause before replacing any parts. If a failed resistor is the cause, the 20073 replaces it.
