Description

Keep air moving through your heating and A/C system with the Four Seasons Blower Motor Wheel, part number 35609. This reverse-rotation front blower wheel mounts on the blower motor and moves cabin air through the HVAC ducts as the motor spins. It fits many vehicles, among them the 1980-1996 Ford F-150, 1980-1996 Ford F-250 and 1980-1989 Ford Bronco, as a direct-fit replacement for the listed applications. See the "Vehicles it fits" section for the full list and engine details.

Reverse rotation design: built for blower motors that turn in reverse rotation.
Durable plastic material: the wheel is made from durable plastic.
Retainer clip installation: the wheel installs with a retainer clip.
ISO 140 compliant: meets all requirements of the international standard ISO 140.

Four Seasons engineers and tests the wheel and has more than 50 years of experience with mobile A/C systems. The wheel is suited to a wide variety of applications.

A worn or damaged HVAC blower motor wheel can cause a rattling, ticking or whirring noise from the blower area. Other signs are vibration at fan speed or weak airflow at the vents while the motor still runs. A failing motor or debris in the blower housing can cause the same symptoms, so diagnose the cause before replacing the wheel.

Buyer's Q&A

Frequently Asked Questions

What does a blower motor wheel do?

It mounts on the blower motor shaft. As the motor spins, the wheel moves air through the HVAC housing and out to the vents for heating, A/C and defrost.

What does reverse rotation mean on the Four Seasons 35609?

This wheel is built for a blower motor that spins in reverse rotation. The wheel's rotation direction must match the motor for correct airflow.

How is the Four Seasons 35609 installed?

It uses a retainer clip installation. Consult the vehicle service information for removal steps and for whether the original clip may be reused.

What are signs the blower wheel may need replacing?

Rattling or ticking from the blower, vibration, or weak vent airflow can mean a cracked or loose wheel. A failing motor or debris can cause similar symptoms, so diagnose first.

Does this blower wheel fit a 1980-1996 Ford F-150?

Yes. It is a direct-fit replacement for the 1980-1996 Ford F-150 and also fits the 1980-1996 Ford F-250 and 1980-1989 Ford Bronco. See the "Vehicles it fits" section for other vehicles.
