Keep coolant moving and hold back leaks with the Gates Molded Coolant Hose 21517, a pre-shaped molded hose for the lower radiator position. It's a direct-fit replacement for a wide list of applications including the 1985-1992 Volkswagen Golf, 1984-1992 Volkswagen Jetta, 1985-1993 Volkswagen Cabriolet, 1985-1987 Audi 4000, 1998-2001 Chevrolet Metro, 1995-1997 Geo Metro, 1995-2000 Pontiac Firefly and 1995-2001 Suzuki Swift — see the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list and engine-level fitment.

• Molded construction: EPDM tube with synthetic-fiber knit reinforcement and a heat-, ozone- and chemical-coolant-resistant EPDM cover.
• Pre-shaped to fit: molded to the routing to help ensure well-sealed connections at install.
• Engineered materials: designed to resist collapse under vacuum and to resist electrochemical degradation, a leading cause of hose failure.
• Meets spec: SAE 20R4 class D2 and DIN 73411 class A (except for tolerances); rated -40°F to +257°F (-40°C to +125°C).

This hose carries engine coolant between the radiator and the cooling system in the lower position. Gates recommends replacing the hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed. Do not use for fuel or oil transfer applications.
