Gates Engine Cooling Fan Module P/N:FCM181
Gates FCM136K cooling fan module for the 2010-2017 Chevrolet Equinox 4-cylinder 2.4L and other vehicles sets the speed of the electric cooling fan. Also called an engine cooling fan module, it works with the fan that keeps engine coolant in a constant temperature range.
A fan that never switches on, runs at the wrong speed or an engine that runs hot can point to a failed module. Those signs alone do not prove the module is the problem, though; a blown fuse is another common cause.
The 2010-2017 Chevrolet Equinox 4-cylinder 2.4L takes one module, and so do the 2010-2017 GMC Terrain 4-cylinder 2.4L and the 2006-2008 Chevrolet Cobalt 4-cylinder 2.4L. If your car is not one of these, open the "Vehicles it fits" section and check your exact model and engine there.
