Keep coolant flowing between the valve and engine with the Gates Molded Heater Hose 18994, a small I.D., factory-molded, OEM-style hose shaped for the smaller, tighter-fitting engine compartments on the 1992-1995 Honda Civic and 1993-1997 Honda Civic del Sol. It installs in the valve-to-engine position (see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level fitment). Molded to route through cramped spaces like the original, it carries the quality features of Gates molded coolant hose and follows specifications similar to OEM.

• Construction: EPDM tube, synthetic fiber knit reinforcement, and EPDM cover.
• Resists electrochemical degradation — the leading cause of hose failure.
• Rated: meets SAE 20R3 Type EC Class D-1 and D-2 specifications, with a temperature range of -40°F to 275°F (-40°C to 135°C).
• Versatile use: suitable for coolant, water, and air applications, and also approved for marine use.

Caution: do not use for fuel or oil transfer applications. Gates recommends replacing the hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed.
