Description

Keep coolant flowing between the heater valve and engine with the Gates Molded Heater Hose 19151, a factory-molded, OEM-style hose that drops into today's smaller, tighter engine compartments. It's a direct-fit replacement for the 1999-2000 Acura EL [L4-1.6L] and the 1999-2000 Honda Civic [L4-1.6L], and it serves the valve-to-engine position in the heater circuit.

Molded to fit: Pre-formed with the bends needed to route cleanly in tight spaces, with a 21.5 in (546 mm) centerline length and a 0.65 in (17 mm) inside diameter at each end.
EPDM construction: EPDM tube, synthetic fiber knit reinforcement, and an EPDM cover; engineered to resist electrochemical degradation, a leading cause of hose failure.
Rated for the job: Meets SAE 20R3 Type EC Class D-1 and D-2 specifications, with a temperature range of -40°F to 275°F (-40°C to 135°C). Suitable for coolant, water, and air applications, and also approved for marine use.
Note: Do not use for fuel or oil transfer. Gates recommends replacing the hose clamps whenever a new coolant hose is installed.
