Description

Keep coolant flowing between the pipe and heater core with the Gates Molded Heater Hose 19481, a factory-molded, OEM-style small I.D. hose shaped to fit today's smaller, tighter engine compartments. It installs in the PIPE-2 to heater position and drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the 2005-2008 Buick LaCrosse and 2005-2008 Buick Allure — see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level fitment.

Molded coolant hose: Factory-molded to route through tight spaces, with quality features similar to OEM specifications; usable for coolant, water and air applications and also approved for marine use.
Electrochemical degradation resistance: Engineered to resist electrochemical degradation — the leading cause of hose failure.
Construction: EPDM tube, synthetic fiber knit reinforcement, and EPDM cover; meets SAE 20R3 Type EC Class D-1 and D-2 specifications.
Temperature range: -40°F to 275°F (-40°C to 135°C).

Gates recommends replacing the hose clamps each time a new coolant hose is installed. Caution: do not use for fuel or oil transfer applications.
