Description

Keep engine coolant circulating through the cooling system with the Gates Molded Coolant Hose (MPN 24798), a pre-shaped EPDM coolant hose listed under both the HVAC Heater Hose and Radiator Coolant Hose part types. It installs as a direct-fit replacement for the 2011-2013 and 2016-2017 Freightliner MT45 and the 2011, 2013 and 2016 Freightliner MT55, all with the V8-6.0L engine.

Collapse-resistant: specifically-engineered materials resist collapse under vacuum.
Electrochemical-resistant: engineered to resist electrochemical degradation, the leading cause of hose failure.
EPDM construction: EPDM tube, synthetic fiber knit reinforcement, and a heat-, ozone- and chemical coolant-resistant EPDM cover.
Rated to spec: meets the requirements of SAE 20R4 class D2 and DIN 73411 class A (except for tolerances), with a temperature range of -40°F to +257°F (-40°C to +125°C).

The hose is molded to its finished shape to help it route and seal correctly on installation. If a leaking, cracked, or swollen coolant hose is the problem, this replaces it.
