Description

Keep coolant moving through the cooling system with the Gates Molded Coolant Hose 24798. This pre-shaped hose is cataloged for the lower engine-to-pipe position and drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the 2011-2013 and 2016-2017 Freightliner MT45 and the 2011, 2013 and 2016 Freightliner MT55, all with the V8-6.0L engine.

Molded construction: EPDM tube, synthetic fiber knit reinforcement, and a heat-, ozone- and chemical coolant-resistant EPDM cover.
Holds its shape: specifically-engineered materials resist collapse under vacuum.
Long service life: engineered to resist electrochemical degradation, the leading cause of hose failure.
Rated to spec: handles a temperature range of -40°F to +257°F (-40°C to +125°C) and meets the requirements of SAE 20R4 class D2 and DIN 73411 class A (except for tolerances).

Pre-shaped to fit and ensure sealed connections, it measures 6.52 in (166 mm) centerline length with a 1.56 in (40 mm) inside diameter at one end and a 2 in (51 mm) inside diameter at the other.
