Gates Radiator Cap P/N:31307
Gates 31516 cooling system components for the 1977-1985 Chevrolet Impala 5.0L / 5.7L and other vehicles is a safety release radiator cap with a release lever that lets steam out through an overflow tube.
A radiator cap that no longer holds pressure can show up as coolant loss, overflow or overheating. Before you replace the radiator cap, rule out leaks at the hoses, radiator or water pump, since coolant loss and overheating can start there too.
This radiator cap is a direct-fit replacement for the 1988-2003 Dodge Grand Caravan 2.4L / 2.5L / 3.0L / 3.3L / 3.8L and the 1994-1998 Dodge Ram 1500 3.9L / 5.2L / 5.9L. Buick, Cadillac, Chrysler, GMC, Jeep and Plymouth models are covered as well, so open the Buyer's Guide tab and look up your exact model and engine.
