Hayden Power Steering Cooler-Universal P/N:1012
Hayden 1009 auto trans oil cooler for the 1999-2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and other vehicles, also called a power steering oil cooler, is an aluminum cooler that pulls heat out of the oil passing through it.
Oil seepage on or around the cooler, visible damage, or fluid that keeps running hot can mean the cooler is due for replacement. Before you replace it, rule out a leaking hose or loose fitting nearby, since a leak there looks much the same.
This cooler also fits the 1994-2003 Dodge Ram 1500 and the 1975-2003 Ford F-150, and each vehicle takes one. If your car is not named here, open the Buyer's Guide tab to check your exact model and engine.
