Hooker Exhaust Header P/N:6901HKR
Hooker 6114HKR exhaust header for the 1967-1970 Ford Mustang 6.4L / 7.0L and other vehicles is a Super Competition full-length header, aimed at making maximum horsepower at the optimum point in the power curve.
A ticking noise on a cold start, soot streaks near the flange or visible cracks at the welds can mean an exhaust leak. Before you replace the header, look it over with the engine off and cool: soot at the flange can also come from a worn gasket or a loose bolt. If the header itself is cracked, this one replaces it.
It also fits the 1967-1970 Mercury Cougar 6.4L / 7.0L.
