The blower motor spins the wheel that pushes air through the ductwork and out the vents. Four Seasons engineers and tests its products, drawing on more than 50 years of mobile A/C experience.
- Flanged, vented CCW design: flanged mounting, a vented motor and counterclockwise rotation, supplied with the blower wheel.
- O.E.-level design: designed to match or better O.E. design and performance.
- Magnets and windings: magnet size and properties compare to or exceed OEM, and the windings are built to OEM specifications or better.
- Motor speed: RPM equal to or higher than the original OEM motor.
Signs this part may need replacing include weak or no airflow from the vents on every fan speed, or grinding, squealing or rattling from the blower area. A fuse, resistor or switch can cause similar symptoms, so diagnose the cause first. If a failed blower motor is the cause, this unit replaces it.
