Four Seasons HVAC Heater Control Valve P/N:74914
Four Seasons 74001 heater control valve for the 2005-2010 Honda Pilot and other vehicles controls the flow of coolant to the heater with a cable-operated, pull-to-close design. It is also called an HVAC heater control valve.
A heater that stays hot or cold whatever the temperature setting, coolant seepage at the valve, or a cable that no longer moves the valve can mean the valve is worn. Before you replace it, rule out a clogged heater core, low coolant or a fault elsewhere in the climate controls, since those can also leave you with weak heat.
The 2005-2010 Honda Pilot takes one valve, and so does the 2003-2006 Acura MDX; this is a direct-fit replacement for both.
