Four Seasons 73198 recirculation door actuator for the 2011-2019 Ford Explorer and other vehicles is the motor that moves the air door, which sets whether the HVAC system draws fresh or recirculated air.
- Engineered and tested for trouble-free operation, with over 50 years of mobile A/C experience behind it.
- Meets or exceeds OE specifications for fit and function.
- Quality internal motor, drive gears, electronics and connections.
- Tested for function, durability and longevity.
A failing HVAC recirculation door actuator can show up as clicking or ticking from the dash, or as air that stays on fresh or recirculate whatever you select. A blown fuse, a damaged connector, a door that binds or a faulty control module can be behind those signs too, so find the cause before you buy.
It is a direct-fit replacement for the 2008-2019 Ford Taurus and the 2009-2019 Ford Flex as well. If your car isn't one of these, open the "Vehicles it fits" section and check your exact model and engine.
