INA US Accessory Drive Belt Tensioner Assembly,Accessory Drive Belt Tensioner P/N:FT10646
INA US FT40286 belt tensioner for the 2001-2009 Subaru Outback H6 3.0L and other vehicles keeps the accessory drive belt under the right tension. It is a front end auxiliary drive (FEAD) tensioner.
A squealing or chirping belt, a belt that slips or wears quickly, or a rattling noise from the front of the engine can mean the tensioner is worn. A stretched belt can make the same noises, so these signs alone do not prove the tensioner is the problem. The belt drive takes a single tensioner.
This tensioner fits the 2001-2009 Subaru Outback H6 3.0L, the 2008-2009 Subaru Legacy H6 3.0L and the 2006-2007 Subaru B9 Tribeca H6 3.0L.
