Description

Smooth out a bouncy rear end and settle body motion with the KYB shock absorber 343281, a rear Excel-G unit that drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the 1998-2004 Audi A6 and 1998-2005 Volkswagen Passat. This nitrogen gas-charged, twin-tube KYB gas shock absorber is part of the Excel-G (OEA — Original Equipment for the Aftermarket) line, calibrated to help restore the designed control and handling of your European sedan rather than change it.

Twin-tube, gas-charged design: a nitrogen gas-charged, twin-tube build that includes the quality components found in KYB's OE products.
Triple lip fluid seal: uses a triple lip fluid seal to reduce the chance of oil and gas leaking out.
Vehicle-specific damping valves: hand-assembled in-house valving works to manage tire contact, steering response and body movement.
Excel-G calibration: a KYB-recommended OEM replacement, built to help keep electronic safety systems performing as designed.
