Description

Bring firm, controlled front-end damping back to your 1994-1999 Land Rover Discovery with the KYB shock absorber 345014, a front Excel-G gas shock built on the very same KYB OE assembly lines that supply new-vehicle manufacturers. Calibrated to restore the Discovery's originally designed control and handling rather than change it, the Excel-G carries KYB's OEA (Original Equipment for the Aftermarket) classification and is a KYB-recommended OEM replacement.

Nitrogen gas-charged twin-tube design: the Excel-G is charged with nitrogen gas in a twin-tube body to help manage damping.
Triple-lip fluid seal: reduces the chance of oil and gas leaking out.
Vehicle-specific damping valves: hand-assembled in-house to help manage tire contact, steering response and body movement.

Because the suspension, brakes and tires work together, a worn shock can show up as excessive bounce, nose dive under braking, or a loose feel through corners and lane changes; if a failed front shock is the cause, this KYB gas shock absorber replaces it.
