Upgrade the rear of your truck with this KYB shock absorber, MPN 554350 — a high-pressure monotube Gas-a-just unit that drops in as a rear replacement for the 2005-2023 Toyota Tacoma. This KYB gas shock absorber uses a monotube design that separates the gas and oil for fade-free operation and instant response, with valving developed specifically for Toyota Tacomas.

High-pressure monotube design: separates gas and oil for fade-free operation and instant response, avoiding the aeration fade of a traditional twin-tube.
Two working chambers: an air-free hydraulic piston and valve area for responsiveness and control, plus a high-pressure nitrogen gas area with a floating piston for a comfortable ride during normal driving.
