Firm up rear ride control on your SUV with the KYB Gas-a-just Suspension Shock Absorber KG4163, a high-pressure monotube gas shock that installs as a direct-fit rear replacement for the 1999-2003 Infiniti QX4 and 1999-2004 Nissan Pathfinder. Its components and valving are designed specifically for the Pathfinder and QX4, and KYB adds additional damping over the OE design for vehicles that work, tow, and run larger, heavier tires and wheels.

Unlike a traditional twin-tube, this monotube uses two separate working chambers: an air-free hydraulic piston and valve area for responsiveness and control, plus a high-pressure nitrogen gas area with a floating piston for a comfortable ride and instant performance on demand.
