Steady your ride and control body motion with the KYB Gas-a-just Shock Absorber KG4163, a high-pressure monotube gas shock that drops in as a rear replacement for the 1999-2003 Infiniti QX4 and the 1999-2004 Nissan Pathfinder. This KYB shock absorber uses a monotube design with components and valving developed specifically for the Pathfinder and QX4.

Inside are two separate working chambers: an air-free hydraulic piston and valve area for responsiveness and control, and a high-pressure nitrogen gas area with a floating piston for a comfortable ride during normal driving with added performance on demand. Separating the gas and oil helps deliver fade-free operation and instant response even when the vehicle works, tows, or runs larger, heavier tires and wheels.
