Keep the rear of your truck controlled with the KYB shock absorber KG5192, a Gas-a-just high-pressure monotube gas shock that drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the 2004-2014 Ford F-150 and 2006-2008 Lincoln Mark LT. This monotube design separates the gas and oil for fade-free operation and instant response, giving it performance advantages over a traditional twin-tube shock.

Monotube gas design: two separate working chambers — an air-free hydraulic piston and valve area for responsiveness and control, plus a high-pressure nitrogen gas chamber with a floating piston that separates gas and oil for fade-free operation.
Up to 25% more damping: adds up to 25% more damping performance over original equipment shocks, with extra damping for vehicles that work, tow, and run larger, heavier tires and wheels.
Quicker steering response: the higher gas pressure helps improve steering response, with components and valving designed specifically for Ford F-150s, and it helps keep Electronic Safety Systems performing as designed.
Triple chrome plated piston rod: the ultra-smooth chrome rod helps reduce seal wear, since fluid leaking can be a cause of shock failure.
