Restore firm, fade-free rear ride control with the KYB Gas-a-just Shock Absorber KG54104, a high-pressure monotube gas KYB shock absorber. • High-pressure monotube design: separates the gas and oil into two working chambers — an air-free hydraulic piston/valve area for responsiveness and a high-pressure nitrogen chamber with a floating piston — so it resists aeration fade and responds instantly.
• Triple chrome-plated piston rod: an ultra-smooth surface that helps reduce seal wear, since leaking fluid can be a cause of shock failure.
• Higher gas pressure: responds quickly to help improve steering response.
• Adds up to 25% more damping over original-equipment shocks, with extra damping tuned for trucks that work, tow, and run larger, heavier tires and wheels.

KYB notes the Gas-a-just also helps keep electronic safety systems performing as the vehicle manufacturer intended. Sold individually; replace the rear pair together for balanced ride control.
