Smooth out the ride in your work truck with the KYB shock absorber KG54315, a high-pressure monotube Gas-a-just unit that drops in as a direct-fit FRONT replacement for the 1994-2001 Dodge Ram 1500 and 1994-2002 Dodge Ram 2500.

Monotube gas design: two separate working chambers — an air-free hydraulic piston and valve area for responsiveness and control, plus a high-pressure nitrogen gas area with a floating piston for a comfortable ride during normal driving and added performance on demand.
Fade-free operation: the high-pressure monotube separates the gas and oil, so it never experiences fade due to aeration and gives instant response.
Triple chrome-plated piston rod: because fluid leaking can be a cause of shock failure, the ultra-smooth chrome rod is designed to reduce seal wear.
Extra damping for trucks that work: adds up to 25% more damping over original equipment shocks for vehicles that work, tow, and run larger, heavier tires and wheels.
