KYB Suspension Shock Absorber P/N:KG5533

Smooth out the ride and keep your classic Mercedes-Benz planted with the KYB Gas-a-just shock absorber (KG5533), a high-pressure monotube gas shock built as a rear-position, OE monotube replacement to help restore your vehicle's original capabilities. This KYB shock absorber runs two separate working chambers: an air-free hydraulic piston and valve area for responsiveness and control, plus a high-pressure nitrogen gas area with a floating piston for a comfortable ride during normal driving and added performance on demand.

• Up to 25% more damping: adds damping performance over original equipment shocks, with valving designed specifically for your Mercedes-Benz.
• High-pressure monotube design: separates the gas and oil for fade-free operation and instant response, and adds damping over OE for vehicles that work, tow, or run larger, heavier tires and wheels.
• Triple chrome-plated piston rod: an ultra-smooth rod reduces seal wear, since fluid leaking can be a cause of shock failure.
• Quick response: higher gas pressure responds quickly to help improve steering response and helps keep Electronic Safety Systems performing as designed.
