KYB Suspension Strut Bellows P/N:SB119
Keep grit off your strut shaft with the KYB strut bellow SB125, a rear strut boot kit that shields the polished shaft from the dirt, dust, sand, salt and road debris that cause abrasive wear. It's a direct-fit replacement for the listed applications, including the 1999-2006 and 2010-2014 Volkswagen Golf, 1999-2010 Volkswagen Jetta, 2006-2010 and 2012-2016 Volkswagen Passat, 2009-2016 Audi Q5, 2000-2006 Audi TT, 2011-2019 Ford Fiesta, 2011-2014 Mazda 2, 2004-2013 Mazda 3, and 2006-2010 and 2012-2015 Mazda 5, plus additional Volkswagen models — see the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list.
This suspension strut bellow kit includes the jounce bumper and bellows. A torn, cracked, or missing boot lets debris chew up the shaft and seal, so replacing it when you service the strut helps extend the strut's life.
What is the KYB strut bellow SB125?
It's a rear strut boot kit that includes a plastic bellows to cover the strut shaft and a poly foam jounce bumper. Together they help seal out road debris and limit strut travel.
What does the bellows do?
The bellows covers the entire strut shaft to keep dirt, dust, sand, salt and other road debris from reaching and abrading the polished shaft, upper seal and bushing.
What is the poly foam bumper for?
It's a travel-limiting jounce bumper designed to help keep the strut from bottoming out and to help protect other components from extreme-movement damage.
Which vehicles does the SB125 fit?
It fits a range of Volkswagen, Audi, Ford and Mazda models, including the Golf, Jetta, Passat, Audi Q5 and TT, Ford Fiesta, and Mazda 2, 3 and 5. Check the Buyer's Guide tab for your year and model.
When should I replace the strut boot?
If the boot is torn, cracked, or missing, debris can wear the shaft and seal. Replacing it while servicing the strut helps protect the shaft and can extend the strut's life.
