Description

Refresh the ride and handling of your 1975-1985 Toyota Celica with the KYB strut cartridge 365005, a front gas cartridge from KYB's Excel-G line designed to help restore the vehicle's originally engineered control, stability and steering response rather than change it.

Nitrogen gas-charged, twin-tube design: the Excel-G construction includes the quality components found in KYB's OE products and is calibrated to restore designed performance.
Triple lip fluid seal: reduces the chance of oil and gas leaking out.
Vehicle-specific damping valves: hand assembled in-house to correctly manage tire contact, steering response and body movement.
OEA build: made on the same KYB OE assembly lines, earning the Original Equipment for the Aftermarket classification and making it a KYB-recommended OEM replacement gas cartridge.

To reduce the chance of noise and vibration, KYB recommends installing new strut mounts (part number SM5370), and you can protect the assembly from dirt, debris and salt with a KYB Strut Boot (part number SB101). Worn dampers can show up as excessive bounce, reduced stability during lane changes, or nose dive under braking — if the front cartridge is the cause, this replaces it.
