Quiet a noisy, harsh-riding front end with the KYB strut mount kit SM5721, a front suspension strut mount kit that bundles the strut mount, bearing and retainer together. It installs as a direct-fit replacement for the listed applications: the 2004-2007 Chevrolet Optra, 2004-2008 Suzuki Forenza and 2005-2008 Suzuki Reno (see the "Vehicles it fits" section for full details).

The strut mount is the top connection between the strut and the body, isolating road impacts and locating the top of the strut. On the front, the bearing plate also acts as the steering pivot and helps support vehicle weight, so a worn mount can affect steering feel and front-end alignment.
