Bring back the settled, controlled ride of your Ford Mustang with the KYB Excel-G Suspension Strut 235009, a nitrogen gas-charged, twin-tube unit that installs as a direct-fit FRONT replacement for 1987-1993 Ford Mustang (see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level fitment). Built on KYB's OE assembly lines with OE-quality components, the Excel-G is calibrated to restore a vehicle's original designed damping — earning its OEA (Original Equipment for the Aftermarket) classification.

Twin-tube gas design: nitrogen gas-charged twin-tube construction with vehicle-specific, hand-assembled damping valves that help manage tire contact, steering response, and body movement.
Strong strut body: thick strut bodies and brackets designed to minimize flex and help maintain correct alignment.
