Restore the designed control, stability, and handling of your ride with the KYB Excel-G Suspension Strut 235704, a nitrogen gas-charged, twin-tube gas strut for the front-left position. It drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the 2003-2008 Pontiac Vibe and 2003-2008 Toyota Matrix (see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level fitment). Built on the same KYB OE assembly lines with the same OE-quality components, the Excel-G is calibrated to restore original, designed performance rather than change it — earning its OEA (Original Equipment for the Aftermarket) classification.

OEA-grade damping: A KYB-recommended OEM replacement strut that helps restore the vehicle's designed control and handling and keeps electronic safety systems performing as intended.
Triple-lip fluid seal: Reduces the chance of oil and gas leaking out for consistent damping.
