Description

Bring back the designed control and handling of your Hyundai Elantra with the KYB Excel-G Gas Strut (3330037), a nitrogen gas-charged, twin-tube damper for the front right corner. It's a direct-fit replacement for the 2013-2016 Hyundai Elantra and 2014 Hyundai Elantra Coupe (see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level fitment). Built on KYB's OE assembly lines with OE-quality components and calibrated to restore original performance, the Excel-G earns KYB's OEA (Original Equipment for the Aftermarket) classification.

Nitrogen gas-charged, twin-tube design: the same design and quality components found in KYB's global OEM products.
Triple-lip fluid seal: helps reduce the chance of oil and gas leaking out.
Vehicle-specific, hand-assembled damping valves: tuned to manage tire contact, steering response and body movement.
Thick strut bodies and brackets: minimize flex to help maintain correct alignment.

Excel-G helps keep suspension-dependent electronic safety systems performing as designed. KYB recommends installing new strut mounts (part number SM5851) and a strut boot (part number SB132) to reduce noise and protect the new strut.
