Keep your ride composed and your steering responsive with the KYB Excel-G Suspension Strut 333183, a nitrogen gas-charged, twin-tube gas strut for the front-left corner of the 1995-1998 Mazda Protege (see the "Vehicles it fits" section for engine-level applications). Part of KYB's OEA (Original Equipment for the Aftermarket) line, the Excel-G is built on the same assembly lines and with the same OE-quality components KYB supplies to new-vehicle manufacturers, calibrated to help restore the vehicle's originally designed damping performance rather than change it.

Twin-tube gas design: nitrogen gas-charged construction that includes the quality components found in KYB's global OEM products.
Vehicle-specific damping: hand-assembled, in-house damping valves tuned to manage tire contact, steering response and body movement.
Rigid strut body: thick strut bodies and brackets that minimize flex to help maintain correct alignment.
Triple-lip fluid seal: designed to reduce the chance of oil and gas leaking out.
