Keep your ride firmly planted and restore factory-designed handling with the KYB Excel-G Suspension Strut 335924, a nitrogen gas-charged, twin-tube unit that installs in the front right position of the 2000-2006 BMW X5. Classified OEA (Original Equipment for the Aftermarket), the Excel-G is built to restore the vehicle's original, designed damping — not change it.

OE-quality design: A nitrogen gas-charged, twin-tube strut, KYB's recommended OEM-replacement unit built to restore the designed control and handling of your BMW X5.
Triple-lip fluid seal: Helps reduce the chance of oil and gas leaking out.
Vehicle-specific valving: Hand-assembled, in-house damping valves manage tire contact, steering response and body movement.
Strong build: KYB's thick strut bodies and brackets minimize flex to help maintain correct alignment, and help keep Electronic Safety Systems performing as designed.

KYB recommends installing new strut mounts (part number SM5254) and protecting your struts with a KYB Strut Boot (part number SB112) to reduce the chance of noise and vibration and guard against dirt, debris and salt.
