Description

Restore the ride control, stability, and handling engineered into your Scion xD with the KYB Excel-G Suspension Strut 339135. This gas strut installs in the front-left position and is a direct-fit replacement for the 2008-2014 Scion xD (see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine details). KYB builds the Excel-G to restore a vehicle's original, designed performance rather than change it — earning it the OEA (Original Equipment for the Aftermarket) classification.

Nitrogen gas-charged twin-tube design: the Excel-G is made on the same KYB OE assembly lines using OE-quality components, calibrated to restore original damping.
Vehicle-specific damping valves: hand-assembled in-house to manage tire contact, steering response, and body movement.
Triple-lip fluid seal: designed to reduce the chance of oil and gas leaking out.
Strong, thick strut body and brackets: KYB uses heavy strut bodies to minimize flex and help maintain correct alignment in all conditions.

Because a strut wears with the vehicle, replacing the opposite side at the same time is recommended for balanced ride control. If worn front damping is the cause of your bounce, poor handling, or uneven tire wear, this strut replaces the original unit.
