It's a direct-fit replacement for the 2006-2011 Honda Civic — see the Buyer's Guide tab for the engine-level applications. KYB builds the Excel-G on the same assembly lines and with the same OE-quality components as its factory struts, calibrated to restore the vehicle's original designed performance rather than change it — an approach KYB classifies as OEA (Original Equipment for the Aftermarket).

Twin-tube gas design: nitrogen gas-charged twin-tube construction that includes the quality components found in KYB's global OEM products.
Triple-lip fluid seal: helps reduce the chance of oil and gas leaking out.
