Description

Help restore the designed ride control and handling of your Honda CR-V with the KYB Excel-G Suspension Strut 339366, a nitrogen gas-charged, twin-tube gas strut. It installs in the front left position and is a direct-fit replacement for the 2012-2014 Honda CR-V (see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine details). Classified OEA (Original Equipment for the Aftermarket), the Excel-G is designed to restore your vehicle's original, designed performance rather than change it.

Twin-tube gas design: nitrogen gas-charged construction built to the same OE-quality component standards KYB supplies to new-vehicle manufacturers.
Triple-lip fluid seal: reduces the chance of oil and gas leaking out.
Vehicle-specific damping valves: hand-assembled to manage tire contact, steering response, and body movement.
Strong strut body and brackets: designed to minimize flex and help maintain correct alignment.

KYB recommends protecting new struts with a KYB Strut Boot (SB108) and, to reduce the chance of noise and vibration, installing new strut mounts (SM5400). The Excel-G also helps keep Electronic Safety Systems performing as designed, since those systems depend on the suspension operating as intended.
