Description

Restore controlled, confident damping to your Fiat 500 with the KYB Excel-G Suspension Strut 339854, a nitrogen gas-charged, twin-tube gas strut. It installs in the front right position as a direct-fit replacement for the 2012-2017 FIAT 500 (see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine details). KYB engineers the Excel-G to restore the vehicle's original designed damping, ride control and handling rather than change them.

OEA build: Made on the same KYB OE assembly lines with OE-quality components and calibrated to restore original, designed performance — earning KYB's Original Equipment for the Aftermarket classification.
Vehicle-specific valving: Hand-assembled, application-specific damping valves are designed to manage tire contact, steering response and body movement.
Strong strut body: Thick strut bodies and brackets help minimize flex to maintain correct alignment across conditions, supporting the electronic safety systems that rely on suspension, brakes and tires.
Triple-lip seal: A triple-lip fluid seal is designed to reduce the chance of oil and gas leaking out.

KYB recommends installing new strut mounts (part number SM5685) and protecting the unit with a KYB Strut Boot (part number SB101). Sold individually.
