Description

Restore controlled damping to the front-right corner with the KYB Excel-G Suspension Strut 340038, a nitrogen gas-charged, twin-tube unit that installs in the front right position on the 2010-2012 Ford Fusion, 2010-2012 Lincoln MKZ, and 2010-2011 Mercury Milan (see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-level detail). Built on KYB's OE assembly lines with OE-quality components, the Excel-G is calibrated to restore the vehicle's originally designed performance rather than change it — earning KYB's OEA (Original Equipment for the Aftermarket) classification.

Vehicle-specific damping: Hand-assembled valving is tuned to manage tire contact, steering response, and body movement.
Twin-tube gas design: Nitrogen gas-charged construction helps restore the designed control and handling of your vehicle.
Triple-lip fluid seal: Reduces the chance of oil and gas leaking out.
Strong strut body and brackets: Thick construction minimizes flex to help maintain correct alignment.

KYB recommends installing new strut mounts (part number SM5540) to reduce the chance of noise and vibration, and protecting the strut with a KYB Strut Boot (part number SB101).
