Description

Help restore the settled, controlled ride of your Dodge Journey with the KYB Excel-G Suspension Strut 340093, a nitrogen gas-charged, twin-tube rear strut that drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the 2011-2020 Dodge Journey (see the "Vehicles it fits" section for engine-level fitment). Built on KYB's OE assembly lines using OE-quality components, the Excel-G is calibrated to help return the vehicle's original, designed damping performance rather than change it — earning it KYB's OEA (Original Equipment for the Aftermarket) classification.

Twin-tube gas design: nitrogen gas-charged, twin-tube construction that includes the same quality components found in KYB's global OEM products.
Triple-lip fluid seal: helps reduce the chance of oil and gas leaking out.
Vehicle-specific damping valves: hand assembled in-house to help manage tire contact, steering response and body movement.
Strong strut body and brackets: thick construction that helps minimize flex to maintain correct alignment.

The Excel-G helps keep the suspension working with the brakes and tires so Electronic Safety Systems perform as designed. To reduce the chance of noise and vibration, KYB recommends installing new strut mounts (part number SM5678), and a KYB Strut Boot (part number SB113) helps protect the strut from dirt, debris and salt.
